numb
/nəm/
adjective
adjective: numb
deprived of the power of sensation.
"my feet were numb with cold"
A movie near to my heart. A character that was truly complex and hard to explore. So many stories are similar to her’s. If anything, I hope this serves as a mirror to what deep pain can produce.
This movie was made in the summer in a small town in Viroqua, WI. The crew slept in a loft on the top of a library. We shared our emotions, our thoughts, our tears and spent a beautiful two weeks making a movie that will exist forever. There is also a star out there in the galaxy somewhere named Jade. I needed her at the time she came along.

rage
/rāj/
noun
noun: rage; plural noun: rages
violent, uncontrollable anger.
"her face was distorted with rage"
I made this movie in the desert a couple of years ago. It was one of the hardest shoots I have ever been on. So, if you need me for that Mad Max reboot or to step into a Furiosa role, I’m game. I love the grit of this role and how her tenderness shows through her tough demeanor like a kalidescope. I think that is human nature. We all want to appear capable, tough, and able but sometimes real courage comes down to having a cry with your sister in the desert.
charmed
/CHärmd/
adjective
adjective: charmed
1.(of a person's life) unusually lucky or happy as though protected by magic.
"I felt that I had a charmed life"
2.(of a particle) possessing the property charm.
"a charmed quark"
This was a dream come true. This is also a very timely show. Meeting the majestic Ethan Hawke felt like a dream. I remember watching him in HAMLET when I was growing up and thinking-that, that is what I want to do. So, working on his show, alongside his John Brown, felt surreal. Don’t just watch my part, go watch the whole series.

extremely angry.
"she was furious at this attempt to manipulate her"
joy·ful

My first film. Films, to me, are a snippet in time. Sort of like a photograph but moving in motion so its more intimate, more vulnerable, more appealing. Kind of like going through someones bathroom drawers at a party, not saying I have (I totally have we all have) that's what movies are to me. A snippet into a world, realistic or totally imagined. A snippet of a part of a life. But this film was a personal snippet, a snippet of who I was as a person during filming. A memory to look back on and think I did that, I was that, I looked like that. I don't know if all actors feel this way but I think our movies are our photo albums. They are our memories, good and bad, of times past. Just like you look at a photograph I look at a movie and remember how I felt. It’s an interesting life. I am thankful God put a calling on my life to be this. Here is my first feature film that was released in 2014 and a snippet of me during that time through Paul Harrill's eyes. You can also watch SOMETHING, ANYTHING on Amazon, Kanopy, and iTunes.
Written, directed, and starring me. It is a joyful movie but wasn’t a joyful experience making it. lol. I’ll write about it in a book one day, until then I hope it makes you laugh and be joyful.
2020 was crazy and quarantine made me a little crazy, well crazier - I guess. The Office has always made me feel safe. Whenever I watch it I feel like I am home, in my bed, safe and sound. That is a feeling we all need right now. Also, I would love to be on a show similar to The Office. A show that just brings people pure joy and allows them to escape themselves or their circumstances for a little while.
crushed
/krəSHt/
adjective
adjective: crushed
deformed, pulverized, or forced inwards by compression.
I arrived in mystical Madison, GA on the last day of filming. But, maybe in a strange way I had been there all along. Shooting on film was magical, seeing what I did come to life was even more magical. I am proud of this one, because it will live on film forever.
